David has over 25 years of extensive international finance experience, David has built a remarkable career, having worked for prestigious companies such as Banco Real de Investimento. In this role, he was instrumental in structuring Eurobonds and fixed income transactions, successfully managing and structuring more than US$ 1 billion in debt transactions. This significant achievement highlights his expertise in navigating complex financial instruments and markets, showcasing his ability to deliver results in high-stakes environments.

David's professional journey also includes a notable tenure at Deloitte & Touche, where he specialised in Corporate Finance. During his time there, he contributed to numerous mergers and acquisitions (M&A), privatisation efforts, and various financial advisory projects. His work in this area not only honed his analytical skills but also provided him with a deep understanding of the intricacies involved in corporate restructuring and strategic financial planning.

Furthermore, David has held a key position at The Royal Bank of Scotland in the Corporate & Structured Finance division. Here, he was responsible for structuring a variety of management buy-outs (MBOs), management buy-ins (MBIs), and leveraged acquisitions. His ability to assess and structure these complex financial deals has made him a valuable asset in the finance sector, demonstrating his proficiency in creating tailored financial solutions that meet the unique needs of clients.

In addition to his roles in investment banking, David served as the Finance and Administration Director for Grupo Habitasul, a company involved in both real estate and the pulp and paper industry. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in structuring one of the first carbon credit transactions in the world. This innovative approach not only showcased his forward-thinking mindset but also highlighted his commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility within the finance sector.

David's experience extends to working with Woodbridge Group International and OKTO Finance, both of which are renowned M&A financial advisory firms. His diverse background in these firms has further enriched his understanding of the financial landscape, allowing him to provide comprehensive advisory services to clients seeking to navigate the complexities of mergers and acquisitions.

Fluent in both English and Portuguese, David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and an MBA from the University of Bath in the United Kingdom. His educational background, combined with his extensive professional experience, equips him with a robust foundation in finance and business management.

Moreover, David has actively participated in various professional organisations. He was an Executive Member of the British Chamber of Commerce in Brazil, where he contributed to fostering business relations between the UK and Brazil. Currently, he is a member of IBREI – the Brazilian Institute of International Relations, and IBCG – The Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance, further demonstrating his commitment to promoting best practices in corporate governance and international relations. In 2023 David published his first book, entitled "Navigating Cross-Border Mergers and Acquisitions: A Global Perspective".
